Adult Bible Classes

Blessed is the one...whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers (Psalm 1:1-3).

Every Sunday we offer an adult Bible study designed to help adults deepen their understanding of God's Word and grow in the knowledge of his grace. Adult Bible studies are designed to be challenging but engaging. They are based on the ancient words of Scripture but applicable to people's lives today.

Current Bible Studies

  • God's Providence (led by Pastor Schroeder)- How does God provide, care for, and protect us day by day?  This class explores these questions and beyond.
  • The Book of Daniel (led by Pastor Krause)- Daniel was a key figure during the time of Israel's captivity in Babylon.  The book of Daniel is a reminder that God rules in history for the good of his people.

WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASSES: John's Gospel (8:15am - 9:15am in the church fellowship hall; 9:45am - 10:45am in the church narthex)

Who is Jesus?

It’s the biggest question with which we need to wrestle.  The answer is the key to fulfillment and peace in life now and, even more than that, to having life eternally.  And the answer is found in John’s Gospel.

Jesus is
the Word Made Flesh.  The Lamb of God.  The Messiah.  The Bread of Life.  The Light of the World.  The Good Shepherd.  The Resurrection and the Life.  The Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Jesus is the Son of God and your Savior.

You are invited to come learn more about Jesus at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church on Wednesday mornings.  Class runs from 8:15am to 9:15am in our fellowship hall (take a quick right when you enter through our main church entrance). The 9:45 class is a wiggle-friendly class including a short devotion for the little ones.
